You finally got yourself an apartment and landed a temp data entry gig—just enough to keep you going until something better comes along. The official job title? Data Conversion Operator. But let’s be real, you are just there to type up all the garbage that computers still can not figure out.
Day in, day out, you sit at your terminal, staring at weird, half-legible images and punching in whatever text you can make out. Not exactly thrilling but hey, it pays the bills. But then, the mail starts getting… weird. Some of it looks ancient—letters, lost parcels, things that have bounced from place to place with no final destination.
Torn-up messages, twisted words, like they have been waiting for someone to finally read them. And sometimes, just sometimes, it feels like they are talking directly to you through the screen. You will use your keyboard to type out prompts, trying to decipher the damaged images.
Along the way you will uncover buried secrets and experience multiple endings, making sure no two playthroughs are exactly the same. With an estimated runtime of 120 minutes per run, there is plenty of unsettling mail to dig through—glimpses into other people’s lives, whispers from the past.
Expect an atmospheric horror experience, with sound design meant to crawl under your skin. A keyboard with Function Keys and Control Keys (Insert, Page Up/Page Down) is highly recommended but key re-binding is available if you need it. Just be ready—because once you start reading, you might not like what you find.
How to Download & Install DEAD LETTER DEPT.
