No one is coming to save you. No one’s left to hear you scream and welcome to your personal nightmare. The Backrooms: Mass Extinction is a horror game developed by Mitchell Hepburn using Unreal Engine 5.
There are even Negative Levels and various sub-levels to discover, survival is key and you have tools to help. Use vending machines to keep yourself from starving, collect Almond Water for a boost and make sure your flashlight has enough batteries so you don’t get lost in the dark.
If you are lucky, you might find the legendary Manila Room hidden behind a noclippable wall or stumble upon books documenting the different levels. Want to play in VR? You can seamlessly switch between regular play and VR mode even splashing water in the Poolrooms for added immersion.
But you’re not alone. Entities lurk in the shadows waiting for their next victim. Right now the game features Partygoers, Smilers and a Hazmat entity, but more could come in future updates. If you’d rather explore without the constant threat of death, you can disable enemies or arm yourself with hidden weapons and even guns to fight back.

- So, click on the download button available below and upon clicking it you will be taken to the website (PixelDrain) that hosts the pre-activated game file.
- However, there you will find a download button click on it and the game will start downloading. Then wait for it to finish downloading. In some cases, there will be a timer so you will have to wait. After that timer ends then you will have to click on the download button.
