About THISTLEMINE
Thistlemine is a dope puzzle exploration RPG where you play as Noa, a low-ranking excavator. Your mission is to navigate and clear out the Exclusion Zone, a super creepy place filled with Miasma. This nasty stuff is messing up time and space, mutating the little life that is left there. There is also a rumor of a powerful artifact lurking in the zone and luring many adventurers who never return.
Inside this zone you will find a massive garden labyrinth, the mutated remains of those who came before, and guardian Anomalis that now rule the land. Noa faces a tough job since she is outnumbered and not really prepared for this mission. The only edge she has is her ability to rewind short windows of time. With patience, determination, and some smart planning, she might just get through it.
The Exclusion Zone is packed with confusing and tricky puzzles. There are seven major areas each full of secrets and various combat encounters. Depending on how you play, like what decisions you make or resources you use, the game can change up a bit. These variations can make things harder give you extra resources and add more story details, or show you better routes through the garden.
Combat in Thistlemine is intense. The Anomalis, which look like plants and flowers, emit Miasma that limits your turns in battle. They have got a bunch of lethal abilities and there are tons of them so you have to be smart about your strategy. There are over 40 unique encounters many with multiple phases and different challenges.
Thistlemine offers three modes: Standard Mode, Regimental Mode, and Temporal Rift. Standard Mode is the regular gameplay experience, with plenty of checkpoints, dialogue, choices, and minimal consequences for losing. Regimental Mode is a time attack challenge and giving you two hours to beat the game and making you optimize every move. The Temporal Rift, unlocked from the start, lets you experiment with game mechanics and optimize your routes. This mode will get more challenges and content drops in the future.
