The Lands of the King are balanced and great for building large empires or drawing lots of cards and Babylon focuses on buildings, using workers to enhance their effects. The Unfaithful, on the other hand, gain short-term advantages by adding harmful sin cards to their decks, which you will have to remove later.
Other than that adding military cards can help you expand and defend your empire, capturing powerful buildings and protecting against orcish raiders. But keep in mind, they won’t help you much against political enemies or in boosting your gold supply.
Investing in cards that let you buy more cards might be costly at first, but it can pay off big time if you build the perfect deck. Buffs and utility cards can sometimes boost your economy more effectively than just adding another trader.
Victory can be achieved in various ways, by gaining gold, invading your neighbors, or befriending them and each faction has five unique victory cards, including faction-specific wins. As you unlock higher difficulty levels new obstacles will keep the game fresh and challenging every time you play. With over 200 cards, you will need to adapt to the synergies between your card draws, buildings, and artifacts to succeed.
