The game’s set on Earth way in the future. Our world’s facing an ancient threat. Turns out, a super-smart race called “The Firstborn” owned the planet way before humans. Millions of years ago, a meteor hit Earth, wiping out 90% of life and making it almost unlivable. The Firstborn had to hibernate to survive.
Kirk Hussl, once a Special Forces soldier turned thief, gets a mysterious job to find an artifact in the ocean. He finds this weird crystal, but when he grabs it, there’s a huge explosion. This messes up the power of the hibernation pods in the Firstborn’s city.
Kirk gets knocked out but manages to get the bathyscaphe to surface and he wakes up in a local prison. Zendaya, a treasure hunter, hears about artifacts that could fetch a good price. She’s a smart, adventurous brunette who loves exploring dangerous places.
She decides to check out the Firstborn’s city that popped up where Wilmington’s ruins are now. Meanwhile Yoko an archeology student, is investigating the cataclysm that destroyed everything he loved. He is back in the city to uncover the truth and visit his destroyed home.
Gentem, the Firstborn’s ancient city, rises from the ocean and heads for land, causing massive destruction on the U.S. East Coast. The power failure during their rise wrecks Wilmington, killing many and leaving others homeless.
Now, the Firstborn are planning to terraform Earth to suit them, which could wipe out humanity. Hussl escapes from prison, and the ruins of Wilmington become his hideout. Yoko and Zendaya also head to the city. Plus fate brings the three together and they discover the Firstborn’s plans and work to stop them.
