So, it’s 1966, and the South African Border War has kicked off. You are in charge of the South African Defence Force (SADF) and your mission is to secure the region along the border with Angola. To succeed in your mission, you will need to coordinate ground troops, special forces and air support, while also training local forces (SWATF) and gaining the trust of the local population and their cooperation is crucial for gathering intel which is key to winning this counter insurgency war.
