Billy’s been a bit of a mess lately. After letting his girlfriend down one too many times, she finally dumps him on their two-year anniversary. Billy’s all alone, walking home in the rain, when out of nowhere, a mysterious portal opens up and sucks him into another world.
And just like that, Billy’s stuck on a far-off planet, where he’s about to learn what it really means to be the person he should’ve been all along. But it’s not all about self-discovery—Billy’s also got a bigger mission.
He’ll uncover an ancient alien prophecy, fight some weird creatures, and maybe even save the world. All of this unfolds in Billy Saves the World a wild, funny sci-fi love story that is like a mix of Monkey Island and Futurama with an epic twist. It is written, directed and designed by award-winning filmmaker Cooper Bibaud.
The game gives you two totally different ways to play, depending on what vibe you’re feeling. You can dive into action-platforming, jumping and sliding through fast-paced levels, or you can slow things down and get into puzzle-adventure mode, where you think things through and take your time.
Whatever you choose there are loads of ways to solve problems, approach quests and get through each level. The world Billy’s in is packed with hidden secrets and cool stuff to do. You’ll run, slide, rocket-boost, and even unlock Jedi-like powers to explore.
The game’s set in a 2D Metroidvania-style world with tons of biomes, side-quests, and hidden collectibles. Plus there are over 30 extra levels to discover, filled with tough enemies, puzzles, and traps. The soundtrack is killer too, with tunes by John McMillan (Assassin’s Creed IV) and Tom Ratesic (Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne).
How to Download & Install BILLY SAVES THE WORLD
