Clarity is a pretty cool platformer that’s more laid-back compared to those intense Metroidvania or Souls-like games. What makes it stand out is that you get to pick the order in which you face bosses and it is all about exploring massive dungeons with the help of a map.

When you defeat an enemy you collect it to fuel your magic spells which you will need as you go deeper into dungeons filled with brutal enemies and terrifying monsters. You’ve got all the basic controls—double jumps, dashes, sword attacks, and spell casting—which makes for some pretty fluid combat.
There are seven unique levels, each with its own boss, and the cool part is you get to decide which one to fight first. Every time you take down a boss you unlock new skills and abilities that open up different ways to tackle levels.
It really lets you mix things up and explore the world of Vanguardia in your own way and what’s interesting is that the demons in the game symbolize mental health struggles and other life challenges.
As you fight through poisonous swamps and fiery caverns you pick up the traits and resilience needed to beat those demons, kind of like the journey toward recovery and it is deeper than it first seems!
