A long time ago, a creepy legend started making its way through the deepest corners of the Internet, especially on 4chan’s /x/ board. An anonymous user first mentioned an obscure and forgotten anime called “Go for a Punch.” 

Despite countless efforts to find the original footage since 2011, no one’s ever been able to recover it and the plot follows a group of high schoolers who end up trapped inside a locked restroom with no windows or doors to escape from. 

As time drags on, they slowly lose their minds, driven to desperation by hunger and the hopelessness of their situation. Eventually, some of them even turn to suicide as a way out. Other than that the Visual Novel adaptation takes that same eerie premise and adds some twists, capturing the essence of the mystery behind lost media and the unknown.

Memory, especially in the context of something that’s been lost or forgotten, is often unreliable. Because of this, different people who remember the original anime each have their own version of events, and the story constantly evolves as more is discovered. 

As you experience the novel you will get to see exactly what these characters went through in their final moments and uncover the tragic reasons behind their suffering. Expect over 20 unique backgrounds, original music tracks, immersive sound effects, and fully animated characters (including blinking eyes). 

The death scenes are detailed, and your character’s last words will even be tweeted out. It’s not just a visual novel—there’s a mini-game, too.
