About PASSAGEWAY OF THE ANCIENTS
Passageway Games is a small indie studio based in Abilene, Texas, started back in 2014 by two guys in their 70s, Jon Grierson and John Hendrick. They actually met about 30 years ago while working on a medical device project.
During that time, Hendrick was really impressed with Grierson’s dedication and creativity. Fast forward, Grierson, who has a huge passion for RPGs (he’s been into them for over 50 years), pitched an idea to Hendrick to make a game together, and that’s how this studio came about!
Their game, *Passageway of the Ancients*, is inspired by the classic CRPGs from the ’90s and early 2000s. It throws you into the world of Aieryon the last magical planet in the galaxy. You will be exploring the city of Ithgar trying to crack a huge mystery while battling all sorts of monsters solving puzzles and leveling up your character.
You will need to be clever with how you manage your party, pick locks and solve Runic puzzles to find the best loot and what makes this game stand out is its unique combat. It mixes turn-based and real-time combat, taking cues from actual medieval weapons and tactics.
Plus your character has a cool dual persona system, where you will need to balance between your secret Dragonkindt side and a public persona like a Dwarf, Elf, or Human. Knowing when to use each is where the real strategy comes in!
Dragonkindt is a special race that Grierson came up with for the game, inspired by his own unpublished novel. They are part angel part shapeshifter and part dragon. Pretty wild right? On top of that you will also get to customize your character’s appearance and gear with magical items that boost your stats like intelligence and willpower.
How to Download & Install PASSAGEWAY OF THE ANCIENTS
- So, click on the download button available below and upon clicking it you will be taken to the website (PixelDrain) that hosts the pre-activated game file.
- However, there you will find a download button click on it and the game will start downloading. Then wait for it to finish downloading. In some cases, there will be a timer so you will have to wait. After that timer ends then you will have to click on the download button.
