Every night, I have the same freaky dream: my own head mounted on a wall. It’s always the same, but it feels so real. One night, while I’m just wandering around this weird town, I start noticing all this creepy paranormal stuff happening.
That is when I realize—maybe this nightmare is not just a dream, maybe it is a glimpse of something that is about to come true and I can not escape it. In this point and click adventure, I’m guiding Harvey Green through the strange streets of Villa Ventana.
He’s trying to figure out what is going on and stop his visions from becoming a nightmare he can’t wake up from and the whole game is packed with exploration, weird conversations and mind-bending puzzles that keep you on edge.
Plus the story’s got some wild twists but it also throws in some absurd humor that makes it all feel unique. You will meet all sorts of strange and memorable characters and they are all voiced by a killer cast of actors that bring them to life.
Plus the art’s this sick mix of hand drawn 2D and 3D, giving it this cool, almost diorama like vibe. The soundtrack’s haunting too—completely adds to the whole eerie atmosphere. If you are into creepy stories with a twist, you won’t want to miss this one.
