In this game, you step into the shoes of Snezhinka, who is just trying to make ends meet as a temp worker for a private military company. But it’s not just a regular job—you are up against waves of enemy mechs in a gritty, 2.5D dystopian world.
With your small paycheck (what is left of it after taxes and all), you will need to buy cards to power up your combat skills and stay alive as the enemies get tougher. The gameplay is fast and intense, and you can dive into it using either a controller or just your mouse and keyboard.
It’s super easy to get the hang of—move around, aim, shoot, and use some cool gadgets to help you out. Besides the main story, which is pretty solid, there are two challenge modes where you can compete online for the top spot.
Plus, there is a collection feature where you can rewatch the story’s cutscenes and check out all the details on the characters and weapons. Snezhinka’s got a personal mission too. Her older sister is part of an elite squad called the Molten Iron Squadron, but one day, Snezhinka loses all contact with her.
Determined to find her, she signs up with Blue Peacock Co., a private military outfit, and heads straight to the front lines of the war.
