Imagine a light, roguelike card game where you build your deck and battle it out with robots – kinda like Slay the Spire! The game is all about drawing cards, managing energy and making those split-second decisions on how to use your Attack, Defend and Ability cards.
If Slay the Spire is already on your radar, you’ll get the hang of this super quick. You start with some basic cards and work your way up, collecting stronger cards and new components after each battle to build out a deck that suits your style.
It is all about that strategic progression, building a deck you know will crush the opponents! And if you are into Hearthstone’s Arena mode, you will appreciate the start of this game. You get to draft your own starting deck – picking one card out of three every round for eight rounds.
By the end, you’ve got a unique starter deck that is all yours, ready to roll. Boss fights here are not about insanely high HP or overwhelming damage. Instead it is about learning their quirks and each of the five bosses has a special ability so you will need to think on your feet to figure out how to beat them.
