From the creators of Blasphemous comes The Stone of Madness, a real-time tactical stealth game set in an 18th-century Spanish monastery. This place is not just a monastery—it is a madhouse and an inquisitorial prison buried deep in the Pyrenees.

Five prisoners, all dealing with brutal punishment and creeping insanity, must work together to face their fears, uncover the monastery’s dark secrets and most importantly, escape. Breaking out won’t be easy, but Agnes, Leonora, Eduardo, Amelia, and Alfredo each have unique skills to help.

You’ll take turns controlling all five, upgrading their abilities to cast spells, assassinate enemies, distract guards, and even fight off supernatural threats. Exploration is key—search for clues and tools hidden throughout the monastery, but be careful. 

If you get caught somewhere you should not be, the guards won’t hesitate to make you suffer. Mental health plays a huge role in The Stone of Madness, each character has deep-seated traumas and phobias that can spiral out of control, leading to paranoia, violent outbursts or even full blown insanity.

Time also matters—daytime is best for sneaking around and gathering supplies, while nighttime brings out terrifying paranormal entities that can shatter your sanity. With two full campaigns, different escape strategies, and unpredictable consequences, every choice could be your last.  

Visually the game is a masterpiece, inspired by 18th century artist Francisco De Goya. The hand-painted, frame-by-frame animations make it feel like you’re trapped inside a moving painting. With its eerie atmosphere deep strategy and intense survival mechanics and this game offers a haunting and unforgettable escape experience.

How to Download & Install THE STONE OF MADNESS
